About
Meeting statutory safeguarding requirements can be challenging. I am here to support your organisation by meeting your Safeguarding Adults and Mental Capacity Act needs. I have a solution that will work for you from training to delivering on action plans to commissioners and regulators to statutory review work.

I am a registered social worker with Social Work England and Best Interests Assessor approved to undertake work within the Deprivation of Liberty framework. I undertake independent work across the North West of England whilst maintaining my practice in my deputy designated function in the NHS Lancashire safeguarding network
Services
I have over 20 years experience in statutory, private and voluntary health and social care settings. My practice experience sits in adult learning disability, mental health, forensic and safeguarding services. I provide level 2 & 3 safeguarding adult training for a wide range of staff, roles and competencies. This is tailored to the adult NHS Intercollegiate Document for those agencies needing to demonstrate this requirement to commissioners.

Safeguarding supervision is a key feature of any organisation offering the opportunity to reflect on practice, develop strategies and enhance safeguarding knowledge and application of processes. I deliver both 1:1 and group sessions
I have a wealth of experience in safeguarding adult and domestic homicide reviews. I am available to chair and author reports independently within these statutory processes.
